Kasol, Kufri and Kullu Tour Overview

A 7 day 6 night scenic Himachal tour covering Shimla, Manali, Kasol and highlights including Kufri, Kullu Valley, Atal Tunnel and Sissu. Kasol, Kufri and Kullu Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Delhi to Shimla

Private cab picks you up from New Delhi Railway Station or Airport as per your arrival schedule and drives towards Shimla, the erstwhile British Summer Capital of India. The drive covers approximately 350 km with an estimated travel time of 8 to 9 hours. Upon arrival in Shimla check into your pre booked hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening and overnight stay. The day includes a leisure evening in Shimla after scenic travel through lower Himalayan foothills.

Day 2

Shimla Local Sightseeing to Kufri and back

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing around Shimla and Kufri. En route to Kufri pass through the picturesque Hassan Valley. At Kufri enjoy pony rides to Chini Bungalow and visit Fagu Adventure Park which offers horse riding yak riding and other amusement activities. Later return to Shimla visit Mall Road including historic monuments Christ Church at The Ridge and Lakkar Bazaar with an optional cable car ride to Jakhu Temple. Evening return to the hotel for overnight stay. Distance for this local excursion is about 30 to 40 km total.

Day 3

Shimla to Manali via Kullu

Check out from the hotel in the morning and proceed towards Manali via Kullu Valley with several attractions en route. En route, visit Pandoh Dam and Vaishno Devi Temple and stop at Kullu Shawl Factory to see local handloom products. There is an option to experience river rafting on the Beas River at one's own expense. Arrive in Manali by evening, check into your hotel, and relax for the night.

Day 4

Manali Local Sightseeing

After breakfast explore Manali top attractions including Hadimba Devi Temple set amidst dense deodar forests Club House Vashisht Hot Sulphur Springs Tibetan Monastery Van Vihar and Mall Road. If time permits undertake an optional 2 km trek to Jogini Waterfalls which takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. Enjoy shopping and local delicacies on Mall Road and return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5

Manali to Sissu via Atal Tunnel and back to Manali

Morning departure for an excursion to Lahaul Valley via the engineering marvel Atal Tunnel. Travel leads to Sissu village on the banks of the Chandra River where guests can enjoy scenic riverside walks and visit Sissu Waterfall surrounded by lush green landscapes. Return to Manali in the evening and overnight stay at the Manali hotel. Approximate excursion distance and travel time vary depending on road conditions.

Day 6

Manali to Kasol & Manikaran

Check out after breakfast and drive to Parvati Valley visiting Manikaran Sahib famous for its sacred hot water springs and Gurudwara. Continue to Kasol a picturesque village along the Parvati River and check into riverside camps or hotel. Enjoy a special complimentary one hour bonfire and DJ evening provided by the package. Overnight stay at Kasol.

Day 7

Kasol to Chandigarh

Check out from Kasol camp or hotel in the morning and commence the return journey towards Chandigarh. Scenic transfer through lower Himachal culminates with drop off at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station for onward travel. Guests depart with holiday memories and the tour concludes upon drop off.
